HOW TO EAT KOREAN BBQ

Mmm.. Korean BBQ! My mom and I show you how to prepare for some Korean BBQ at home along with some side dishes to go along with your meal!

*I adjusted the measurements of both side dishes in the video as my mom added more seasoning later on.

  1. I really want to make korean bbq grills at my house but my parents wouldn't allow it because the smoke gets everywhere and the house gets all oily and sticky afterwards, how do you prevent that?

  2. What's the name of the dipping sauce at 6:45? It's very sweet and flavorful. I know because I've had it at a Korean BBQ restaurant in Florence Kentucky. It's definitely for the meat, shrimp, scallops, etc. it's amazing stuff but since we weren't Asian, the people there wouldn't tell us what it was called much less talk to us. In fact, NOTHING was labled in English at this buffet. We just had to watch what everyone else was doing and copy it. The only time they'd speak English is when they gave us the bill. In fact, they even gave us dirty looks all over the restaurant as though were invading their "private space". Not friendly AT ALL but it was the MOST INCREDIBLE and FLAVORFUL food I'd ever eaten in my life. That dipping sauce was a big part of it. In THIS place everyone dipped the raw meat into it BEFORE they put it on the grill. It gave all the meat this sweet crispy favor we just couldn't get enough of.
