  1. Too much salt! And it's called braising before you pop it in the slow cooker. The onions should not be added until close to being done or they will be snot. Same with celery. Carrots and potatoes should be put on bottom with the meat on top. 45 min before meal time add onions and such.

  2. Trying this recipe right now as we speak won't be done until midnight so I will have to have it tomorrow but so far so good! Preparing it in my Ninja Cooking System slow cooker mode! Seems so simple, I am sure it will come out great!

  3. I use red potatoes and don't bother peeling them just wash them real good.. I tried this recipe once using onion soup mix and I did not like the way it turned out it was too much onion taste because you already put onions in it.. and I find it gives it a better taste if you use and ice chicken broth instead of beef and it works good if you cover the roast in garlic powder and brown sugar and it comes out tasting amazing

  4. I'm a lazy cook. Once you get past five ingredients you begin to lose me. I mean, come, on. So I looked forward to making this recipe and I have to admit it came out great! Thanks!

  5. how can people dislike this video? I mean seriously. come on now.. u clicked on a video seeking directions to cook a beef roast. and this did just that. I guess people will dislike anything. wow. anyway, great video and thanks for the simplicity and easy break down. great video!

  6. I'll be using a 18 quart oven roaster, should I increase the 1 cup of broth you use? to 1 1/2 or 2 cups?,(if so which,I can't tell what size your roaster is). Thank You soo much for the video & everything you put into it. My Roaster is arriving tomorrow,'went shopping today! Woo-Hoo!
