After breaking his leg, undergraduate student Luke Durward used his time to return home and mentor his little brother on healthy eating. While illustrating his brother’s dramatic transformation, Durward shares the obvious secret that is repeatedly overlooked by unsuccessful dieters.

  1. that is so inspiring! because his little brother was a child child, I have kids and my 3 year old rarely eats healthy. I need to keep watching stuff like this and get ideas on eating healthy, I'm so afraid of gaining more weight, but I'm determined to be healthy 😉 this helped 👍 Thanx

  2. I have also tried the 21 day fix and may I just say it was Amazing! I would definitely recommend it to anyone. Unlike other diet and exercise plans this is a fun way to loose weight.

  3. dawgyv72 TED is about discussing ideas, ideas are always worth spreading. Some are better than other one, some might be more interesting to certain audiences. If you didn't find this idea useful for you or you found it to be dull, that's perfectly fine, but his idea is as valid as the next one. I am yet to find a TED talk that I can't take something interesting out of.

  4. TLDW; Take all the junk food out of your house and replace it with healthy foods, thus disabling your cravings for unhealthy foods because they're not sitting around tempting you. Spoiler alert:

  5. I can't cook Im 10 years old and my parents never cook because their working and they always buy junk food and fast food I'm over weight and is really hard to lose weight I really want to lose weight

I agree with you… I was trying to loose weight and trying for my 12 year old son not to eat us out of house and home so i changed to we did not have any thing else sweet in the house .. the thing was Iintroduced him to rice cakes and he took to them and i started eating them as a snack and I began to loose weight and he (ADHD) stopped eating us out of house and home and started eating fruit and things that are good for you and rice cakes

  7. I actually tried this diet program myself having seen how my close friend benefited from that. At first I of course wanted to make this happen and I have dropped a grand complete of 12pounds from the “sowo amazing plan” (Google it). This really was a life transformer for me and I feel so much healthier.
