  1. Definitely making this! Yummy! I just found you and saw you live in Melbourne. I live in Ocala and a friend of mine just moved to Melbourne. Have you lived there a long time?Β  How do you like it? I'd love to live closer to the beach but was wondering (from someone who really has lived there) how the economy is since the space center closed. I'm in medical billing but I know that when a mega employer closes it affects all industry.

  2. I'm making this, this week!!!!! I love your recipes! They're so yummy with complex flavors, but not difficult to make!! That's exactly how I cook!! I want to make this now in the middle if the night!! LoL have a great morning dear. Xoxoxo Hollie

  3. I've tried many times to duplicate restaurant style mexican rice, without success. It never occurred to me to brown the rice. I don't know why though, because I have a recipe is sort of the opposite of this. It has beef stock and mushrooms. It is really, really good and you brown the rice in butter! I need to make some again – soon! Thanks for the recipe!!

  4. Hello… First let me say I'm jealous that you are in Florida and I'm in N.Y.❄️⛄️ brrrr and a blizzard is on its way. Been looking for new recipes, I will def. try this on taco night as well. I'm a new sub , prob a few months. I enjoy watching and listening to you.β˜€οΈ

  5. This is a wonderful recipe and will be a great alternative to the fried rice dish that my family enjoys. I have an impression that the recipe will work with a rice cooker too, even though I may need to adjust the amount of liquid to put in. In any case, I'll do some experiments and will let you know how it turns out.
